About this video: In this#tutorial, I teach you exactly how to download and install the shaders mod in Minecraft 1.13 on a Mac. Getting shaders on your Mac is a bit different now than it was back in the day. For modern shaders packs, you need to download and install Optifine in order to get things up and running. Lucky for you, we show you exactly how to get Optifine for MacOS in order get the shaders pack of your choice installed.
Thus, let's go ahead and jump on into it. First and foremost, you need to install Optifine. Doing this is super simple and you can find the download link above. After you've got Optifine on your #Mac, all you need to do is open Minecraft with it. Now, it's time for the fun part. Downloading and install your 1.13 shaders packs on your Mac.
I recommend Sildur's Shaders for Minecraft 1.13, but you can use whatever shaders pack you would like as long as it is 1.13 compatible. You can find a link for Sildur's shaders in the description above. Once you've gotten your shaders pack downloaded, installing it is easy. Just go to your video settings, click on 'shaders', and then click on 'Shaders Pack Folder' in the bottom left. This will open the folder where you just need to drag and drop your shaders pack into. It's pretty freaking simple.
From there, all you need to is close the shaderspacks folder that was opened, and you will have your 1.13 shaders pack installed in Minecraft on your Mac! Congratulations!
